Persons to avoid in life

Here's a confession. I am an anti-social person. I don't have many real friends or close friends. Many times I have been told that I need to be more social able. However, in my attempts to be more social able to people, I have meet some people who were not really nice or genuine. These persons have torn me down, ridicule me or made me feel bad about myself even when I'm in a good mood. So to avoid it happening again to me in the future, I have become more selective of the persons who I interact with in the future and withhold certain details about myself from persons. Here are the types of persons I have become aware of in my life. The bragger or superficial person - These persons like to show off to people everything that is going on good in their life. They wear the latest clothes, shoes, hats and oftens sports high-end cellphones and gadgets even when their salary or income cannot maintain that lifestyle. When they see a humble person with ordinary clothes and gadgets...

How to tell when you're not valued (worthless)

In life, we all try to seek the approval of the persons around us. We want to be liked, loved, respected, praise and cherished. However, there are some situations where persons will not value you even though some will pretend to value you. For these situations, I will give some tips to help you know when you're not being valued You always have to initiate the conversation. Sure, conversations are good and everything but if you are the one always starting it that should be a major red flag. Conversations are a method in which people share values and attitudes with each other. If you are the one always starting the conversation with your friends or group of colleagues it means that these people do not value anything that you're saying. Sure, they may go with the flow of your conversation but when it comes to giving their input it is often short and to the point, as to end the conversation quickly. This manoeuvre is used to get out of your way as soon as possible because ...

Lessons to be learned in life

In my life, I have encountered situation that have affected me for the better or worst. Some of these actions, I took now regret later on in my life. So for my younger readers and other in similar, here is my guidance from me to you. Know yourself. Knowing yourself is ideal for survival in today's society. Trying to be like someone else will do nothing but destroy you. Knowing yourself includes coming to realization of your strengths, weakness, likes, dislikes and interest. How to life as stress free, happy life as a single man

Image
As a single man, I am continually presented that my lifestyle will lead me into misery and despair. I am told that single people live horrible lives and are often social outcast. However, I have noticed that many persons in relationship feeling isolated, frustrated, miserable, caged, abused and rejected. It is though they want to portray that their lives are typical ok when it's not. So for those considering or currently in single male life, here's my tutorial on how to life by yourself. Avoid persons who are in relationship - Persons in relationships will use their relationship as something to get an advantage over you. To them, you are nobody because you don't have a girlfriend and they will constantly rub it in your face even if you hare at higher educational level than them. It is best to hang with persons with similar interest and background as you as they will take your mind about the present state that you are in by channeling you into different areas and activit...

The Government of Jamaica does not care about you

Attention people. The Government of Jamaica does not care about you. Its desires are not for the people but rather for its own upliftment. You are merely pawn in its chess game. Think about it. From Independence until now there hasn't been any progress to development. The country is still struggling with the same issues from forty years ago and the leaders are telling us they have the solution. But where is it? Crime is increasing everyday, unemployment is rising and the education system is still broken ( in fact I've met more uneducated people than educated in my lifetime). Yet they say the country is improving. The truth is the government has no interest in our nation's development and it is time we hold them accountable for their actions. Too many times we hear of scandals with top ranking politicians being swept under the rug but if you were to commit any small infraction, you'd be severely punished without mercy. The Government needs to be placed under the microsco...

The Effectiveness of the Education System

In Today's world, we were told that education is the key to success and the key to opening doors for the poor. With this knowledge, we find that many people are now return to school to get higher education or trying their best to attain scholarships. However, after the completion of their studies many find it difficult to finds employment in their field of study or they are unable to effectively use the information from their study in the work environment. This makes us wonder is the education system being effective in making people escape poverty or we being sold a scam by the system. Some may argue that education is actually making people prosperity however, when one looks at the statistics, the number of graduates working in their fields is actually lower than expected. In fact many graduates are underemployed or unemployed. So What are your views?
